INTRODUCTION
In light of the promulgation of the Protection of Personal Information Act no. 4 of 2013 (hereafter “POPIA”) and the regulations thereto, we have prepared this notice, to explain how, why and when we will obtain, use and disclose your personal information.
We are committed to ensuring that we protect any personal information you provide to us, and that we are at all times fully compliant with POPIA.

Vini Italia Importers Proprietary Limited has company registration number 2015/445336/07. We are a private company which has the primary business of importing Italian alcohol products for the South African and African markets for resale.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We will only collect and process your personal information for the purposes of selling our product range to you. This personal information may include: names and basic personal information, contact details and address, preferences in respect of products we sell and related products, and any correspondence between ourselves and you.
This personal information will be obtained on our website, during product purchases and from our retailers, appointed agents and consultants from you directly and with your consent.
When we obtain information from you, we will inform you what information you are required to provide to us and what information is optional, in order for you to purchase our products.
Website usage information may also be collected using “cookies” which allows us to collect standard internet visitor usage information.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We will use your personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and agreed with you, which is largely limited to facilitating the sale of our products to you.
Examples of how we may use your personal information are:

You have the right to ask us to update, correct add to your personal information. We will advise you of any requirements for us to assist you. We ask that you keep us updated of any changes to your personal information to help us keep our records accurate and up-to-date.
Deletion of your personal information:
You may also request for us to delete any of your personal information which we hold and you may withdraw consent provided at any stage.
